A box arrives - part 2

Dear Diary,

Angelo:  I was getting excited about the package sitting on our front porch.  Was it for me?  Maybe it was for Adam?  I ran to find Adam to tell him about it.

"Adam, there's a package on the front porch for Papa.  What do you think might be inside it?  Could it be for either of us?  I want a new push bike or maybe it's full of new clothes for you."

"The postie left a parcel for Papa on our front porch."
Adam:  I got all excited about the contents of the mysterious parcel but I couldn't imagine what might be inside it.  I would like to have some more new clothes.  We went to examine the box.

"Let's go look at the parcel."

We took a look at it through the door.  "I don't think it's your bicycle or my clothes; it's not the right size for either.  Maybe Jesse has bought something for himself, like knitting wools or books.  We'll have to wait until he gets home to find out."

Angelo:  We thought Papa would never get home.  When he got to the porch, be bent down and read the return address.  We saw a big smile break across his face.

Jesse:  When I came home, I found a package outside the front door and two very excited and inquisitive boys inside.  They were fairly bursting with questions, wanting to know what was in the package from overseas.  I said, "I have something to tell you so let's go and sit down."

Waiting to hear the news.

I've been thinking for some time now that it's time to expand our little family.  I knew this was the right decision when Simon came to live with you as a lodger.  So, I searched for just the right boy to come to live, one who would add quality to our lives.  After a long search I found just the perfect one and finally he has arrived in New Zealand after a long trip from abroad.  I want to introduce you to the newest member of our family.
